Mindfulness for Teenagers
Mindfulness is an invaluable tool & resource for young people as they navigate their way through the many challenges and changes taken place within themselves and their relationships throughout Adolescence.
Practicing mindfulness can support the young person learn how to deal more skillfully with the rollercoaster of emotions & feelings they may be experiencing.
Being mindful and bringing mindfulness into their daily life helps them see themselves with greater understanding and compassion, building an inner confidence and new skill set that can help them calm and balance an anxious mind & body.

Course details:
During this 6 Week Course, participants will learn
How to practice mindfulness in a variety of ways including Breathwork, Body Awareness, Sensory awareness and more.
Explore stress, stress reactivity and mindful ways of dealing with stressful situations
Mindful ways of deal with difficult thoughts, worries, feelings and emotions.
Self Compassion - What is it and how we can practice it
How to take time to relax their minds and bodies & understand the importance of this to support better sleep & focus

Pre Course Information Session
There will be a free Pre Course Information Session on Zoom about the course for Parents/ Guardians and their young person to attend before starting the course on Friday Evening February 27th at 8pm. This is an opportunity for everyone to meet myself, get a taste of Mindfulness and hear more about the course.
